Ember Realms is a role-playing game built for short sessions: a fight lasts a couple of minutes, saves happen constantly, and the story picks up exactly where you left it. The writing is better than the genre usually manages on mobile.

Progression is generous without a paywall — you earn gear by playing, and the one purchase removes ads rather than selling power. Offline play works fully, which for an RPG of this size is rare.
